Running
Tracks can be sub-divided into the following four systems: |

Poured-in-site
system contains a base layer of about 10mm thickness |

paved by mixing two components of PU
coatings. After curing, a granular |
|
textured
finish of 3 - 5mm thickness is
installed. This system is strong, |

durable, and conforms to IAAF's "Performance
Specifications for Synthetic |
|
Surfaced Athletic Tracks".
When well-installed and properly maintained, a |
|
life span of 8 to 10
years can be expected. |

System

Full Pour (Rubber-Chip Filled) |
|
Poured-in-site
system. A base layer of about 10mm thickness is paved

by adding chopped
rubber crumbs in 25 wt-% into well-mixed PU coatings. |

After curing, a granular textured finish of 3 - 5mm thickness
is installed. |
|
This system
conforms to IAAF's "Performance Specifications for
Synthetic |
|
Surfaced Athletic Tracks".
When well-installed and properly maintained, a |
|
life span of 8 to 10
years can be expected. |

System |

Sandwich |
|
The system
comprises a layer of PU binder-bound rubber crumb spread |
|
by paving machine,
after curing, sealing the porous rubber mat and then |
|
installing a granular
textured finish. The system has the same appearance |
|
as
Full Pour Systems but much more economic in cost. When
well- |
installed and
properly maintained, a
life span of 5 to 6 years
can be
expected.

CW-364 System

Structural Spray |
|
The system use
one-component moisture-curing PU binder to mix with |
|
rubber crumb
and spread by paving machine with a thickness of |
|
10 - 13mm.
After curing, two coats of colored finish coating containing
|
|
a fine rubber aggregate are applied. The
System is porous and |
|
substantially cost saving although less durable in use.
When well-installed |
and properly
maintained, the product
life may maintain about
for 5 years .
